Living on the Kent coast I am constantly captivated by the sea and our well renowned, sunsets. Soft pinks, moody greys, vibrant turquoise, terracotta, dark blues and a flicker of gold here and there. Colour is what makes my heart sing, I want to create art that energises and also offers a sense of calm. I have a deep love and appreciation for the Mediterranean so you will spot some of the well known beaches within my latest collection. I purposefully don’t over mix the paint so that the brush strokes and colours effortlessly intertwine, layering to create drama and to affect the way the light interacts with the surface. My ultimate goal is for my artwork to promote well being and a positive feeling in its new home.
